My Lily patch

Today was a beautiful sunny day, so, after dog training, I went off to my Lily patch to do some gardening.

The Lily patch is located in Warragul in West Gippsland. The nursery situated there is run by an American who came here many years ago as an exchange teacher and stayed. He is a botanist and has extablished a wonderful tree nursery. It is here that I garden - a most invigorating experience and one that I am most grateful for.

This season has produced some of the best and most interesting Liliums I have seen; as as the season draws to a close, many seed pods are developing.

What a harvest it is going to be!
